Delete your US Afterhour account
You can delete your account yourself at any time, in the app or on the website. It takes under a minute.
In the app or on the website
- Open US Afterhour and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Scroll to Delete your account and tap I want to delete my account.
- Type your password and confirm.
Can't sign in?
Use Report a problem, choose "Something else", and write "Delete my account" with your username. Include a way to reach you so we can confirm it's you. We delete it within 30 days and tell you when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your name, username, password, email, phone number and profile details.
- Your comments and your answers to hosts' questions.
- Your spots at upcoming events (they're freed for others).
- Your saved events, messages, thumbs-up and the people you blocked.
What stays, without your name
- On past guest lists you become "Former guest", so hosts' headcounts stay right.
- Events you hosted stay up for their guests. Use your event's management link to take one down before you delete your account.
- Records of paid tickets are kept without your name, for the money records.
